Two factor authentication SSH

Oct 31, 2014 — Anyone with a linux server has experienced alot of login tries in SSH. A quick "fix" for that is to change the default port away from 22, but even then, someone WILL try to bruteforce you.

Teamspeak3 server and multiple IP's

Aug 30, 2012 — Since Guild Wars 2 came I started gamin a little bit again. So when some of the guys asked me to setup a TS3 server, I made it happen in no time. However, not long after people started reporting that they got random disconnects. And then the debugging began... for 3 days straight.

PHP 5.3 and 5.4 with Directadmin

Aug 13, 2012 — About 6 months ago PHP 5.4 was released. Given that I love new stuff I did not hesitate installing it on my live server. I soon found out that there had been to many changes and some of my sites were not prepared for this. Now, 6 months later, I decided I had to do something in order to be up to date. I decided to go for a dual install of PHP. This is how I did.

Automated install of CMS, eCommerce, communities...

Jun 15, 2012 — It's no secret that I have become a very big fan of DirectAdmin. Because of that I'm in a constant search of fancy addons - and because of a search, I came across an ace tool called Installatron. Installation made so easy!!

May 29, 2012 — This website is responsive to some extend. At least when it comes to the order the elements are ordered. There is some basic setup needed in the HTML header, that you need to be aware about if you want it to work on a Windows XP with IE7/8 or even some Blackberry devices.

The world of crappy VPS

May 23, 2012 — This is my rant on the matter of VPS and why i have to try 6 different providers within a year in order to get what I want: What I pay for and nothing more. This will list some of the providers I've had and since I'm private and not corporate I don't really care if they get pissed off.

Samsung Galaxy S II battery

Apr 10, 2012 — A few days before the ICS release (Android 4) for Samsung Galaxy S II, I got one myself. I came from a HTC Desire and this was quite a step up. Though, soon after the update, my battery went down the drain. I tried everything and finally i found a solution that gave me my battery back.

Tweak your .htaccess for Concrete5

Mar 27, 2012 — I've made a dew Concrete5 sites and is in general happy about it, but I've felt there where sometimes it was kinda slow. This, despite of the built-in cache functionality. I now know you can improve the performance quite a bit and also help your speed score at Google alot, meaning better ranking in search results.

Exim: Unrouteable Address

Mar 19, 2012 — Given the fact that I just moved VPS to XSserver.eu I also had to setup all the domains, email, accounts and etc. Since I used Directadmin on both servers, the back/restore was a blizz. Took a few hours, but that was because of the amount of data. Today i ran into a problem with exim after i rebooted the server. I couldn't receive mail on my main email account which was a local unix account, and not virtual. 8 hours later i found the problem and solution.
